So what do you guys do about mosquitoes? This morning, was quite possible the worst hunt I've ever had, I'm covered head to toe in camo, but the mosquitoes zoned in on the one part they could still get in around my face mask! I look like I'm breaking out with acne!

I'd thought I'd see if anyone knew of sentless bug spray (I'm doubtful) or if we just have to tough it out. I'm very tempted to only hunt on windy days! C'mon first frost!!!

I was skeptical about the thermacell at first. How well could it work I thought. Bought one (mainly for fishing) and holy sweet crap ill never go back. This thing works like magic.

Do they give off scent? I'd be concerned with spooking deer nearby...

Thanks again guys! I'm really excited now...I don't think I could survive another mosquito bite...first year bowhunting, hence first year hunting deer in September, still getting used to all that entails..good and bad!

The scent it gives off doesn't spook deer. I had one fall out of a ladder stand once. A doe came over, sniffed it and walked off and started browsing again. Once you see how it keeps Skeeters off you, that little scent is a WELCOMED SMELL!!

I have always read great things about Thermacell. Mentioned it one day and my Mom, being a sweetheart, bought me the Off version. It's just a clip on little fan propelled bug controlled. Reviews though, say nothing about how it is in the woods. Anyone here ever use one? I thought it was very nice of my Mother...would love to use it if I can, but if it wont work, I'll be purchasing a Thermacell, too.

I just tough it out, which can be brutal at times. Occasionally if I know it's going to be really bad in the swamp, I'll spray down.

Most hunters I know are using a Thermacell. I guess I just worry about what kind of effects products like Thermacell and Ozonics will have on users 30 or 40 years down the road.

Thermacell is a must here in michigan if you did not have that you would not have any blood left in you after your hunt lol.

The mosquitos are so extremely bad here in central MN this year... They came out of nowhere it seems like.

I was playing catch with the dog the other day, came back to sit down, and I kid you not I had 20 mosquitos on my leg - And it's 10x worse in the woods/swamp.

I will never leave home without my thermacell again.
