Haha, yeah he's pretty big...and completely nocturnal. We have one on camera that may be bigger in inches and definitely in body but I like this one better. We'll see what the future brings. P.S. The last visible tine on the left side is not a brow tine, that's his left G2. He's a 6x5.
This is Gimp. He's got an injury or a birth defect to his right front foot....it's turned in almost at a 90-degree angle. He walks on his first joint and the side of his foot. I took my wife hunting for the first time 3 years ago. He was walking straight at us and I could see his foot was jacked up. I told her to shoot him and as she was getting the gun up, he spotted us and took off. Never saw him after that until last December I was bowhunting and saw a good buck limping. After looking at the footage, I noticed his foot and couldn't believe what I was seeing! It was the same buck. I've got footage of him from my wife's hunt too. I named him Gimp and he is #1 on my hitlist. It'll make a great story if me, my wife or one of my kids can take him this year.
It's crazy how deer can be like o my leg is no good ok well i will still get huge and still get the doe's so i am good lol.
My #1 is going to be the first shooter who happens to walk in front of me. If I had to pick I would go with this guy.
