I've herd from some people that deer like peanut butter. They say if u cut the bottom of a jar of peanut butter and nail the lid to a tree then screw it on that the deer will lick It out. Have any of you herd this before or tried it and if so what were the results ?

Yup... But processed foods, including PB arent allowed where i hunt. If they only made a 'natural' acorn butter...hmmmmm.

I do this every year to pattern deer through the transition areas between food sources and bedding areas. Works great and is inexpensive!

I spose I should just check my regulations, but would this be considered baiting, if you had it close to where you were hunting?
