After having my bow tuned and the cam lean taken out and timed its been all over the place. I finally started to get it back to where it should be. The only thing is I changed more than I planned to (dl, dw, nocking point, peep, and shortened my release) all this just to have it paper tuned. So on opening day I'll be shooting my bow at the range to get used to it and gain my confidence in my equipment again. Its a bummer but id rather spend all day at the range than take something in not confident in and make a poor shot. At least it beats being at work all day.

Smart and ethical decision. Wish more people had that mindset. Good luck getting it all dead on and field ready.

Thank you. I'm sure I'll have it dialed back in by the end of the day Saturday. As long as I can spend the full day at the range without the wife being upset lol. I'm going to try to convince her to go with me

I hear ya. I had some bow issues and now I am waiting on a few parts from bowtech so I can get up and running again. There will be alot of practice arrows shot before I go out hunting.

That's smart! I've made that decision my first year of bowhunting.....Not a bad decision. To be honest,I see some people that are bowhunting I wish would take the proper time to setup their bows correctly before stepping into the woods. But you can't control everyone....

I had my bow shooting amazingly but I noticed it was a hair out of time and I had some cam lean. I took it in to have it tuned and I walked out with a longer dl higher dw and a lot of other things I didn't expect to do. The good thing is its shooting bullet holes through paper so I should have it sighted back in Saturday. I just have to get used to the changes.

Curious as to why your bow is shooting all over the place if it is now tuned properly?

Although for good reason, I don't think I will be able to hunting Ohio opening day either so I hear ya. My wife's due date was Sunday so we are already into overtime. If my wife doesn't go into labor with our second kiddo today I will have to pull the plug on hunting this Saturday. If she does, we've agreed that it's ok.

LOL, well if someone other than one of my NAA crew were to take a buck on our property, it would be you. Simply because your're a fellow small property hunter and I like yo style.

Um....not cool. Bowtech makes fine bows....shoot Bowtech, PSE, Mathews, Hoyt, Elite a ton more even all make great products...the offerings are almost ridiculous anymore and it truly is personal preference and wallet allowance.

You're a smart man! Wish more guys would put their pride away and shoot a well tuned bow. Too many guys I know will be happy with just "okay shooting" and I mean like 6" groups at 20 yds. Good shooting man!

I know lol. My dad has brought me up to respect the animal more than anything. I'm not going to jeopardize my chances by shooting something in not confident in. With that being said I won't take a shot in not confident in either. And a 6 inch group at 20 yards is terrible. I don't think I'm ready to hunt until my arrows are on top of each other at about 50 yards. I'd like it if they were that close at 60 but a 1-2 inch group will work for now lol. Hopefully I'll get it back soon.
