So I put my deer carcass out and guess what stopped by...

    Shot a small deer opening weekend and I put the carcass out behind my buddies shed. We put a trail camera up to see if he had any coyotes in the area. Well, no coyotes, but we did see this! I can't tell how big he is but I am guessing 350. Anyone with experience care to venture a guess?

    I actually went up to Canada to shoot a black bear in August. Little did I know I could have stayed closer to home.

    Turk, did you know you had them that close?
    I am still dreading the moment I see the ones on our property that have quite large tracks.

    Very neat video though. I'd say it's definately a mature one. (Though, I am no expert. I've never even seen one in person.)

    It's on my buddies land. We know that there are bears up there, but have never seen one. Crazy thing is that is about 300 yards away from his house! I told him we should start baiting and let the 30-06 bark from his living room window, lol
