I went out to a place I haven't hunted in 6 years and I wanted to see if it was still nice like it used to be. Its a little spot in a saddle where some powerlines run. I've seen some deer here before so I wanted to see if they still travel it. After walking it I noticed a more pronounced trail, so naturally I followed it. It took me to a spot where 3 ridges come into a dried creek bottom. On the point of one ridge I found what I believe is a scrape. Its one of the biggest scrapes I have seen if I'm right. There are about 5 trails that lead to it and the one that seemed to be more traveled took me to a little opening by the creek. It ran into another trail that looks well traveled. I believe ill be sitting on this spot sometime during this season. Its a little harder to get to so hopefully other hunters wont even find it. Here is a pic of what I found today. The last pic is a small doe or fawn print that I seen in what I believe is a scrape.
I believe its a scrape. But I wanted second opinions. It has a small sapling that could be a licking branch. I've actually never came across a buck bed so I'm not too sure about them.
