I think I may have damaged my eye. A few days ago I was starting a fire with a magnifying glass. It took a little while. Today I realized my right eye (peep eye) has a small fuzzy spot if I close my left eye. Wherever I pull focus there is a small blur everywhere else is crisp until I move my focus anywhere I move the focus the blur follows. As soon as I got home I pulled back my bow. It's a lot harder to focus on target. I'm concerned.

Sounds like you need to see the doctor. My brother lost vision in his left eye after an accident. Nothing to play around with.

I'd be more concerned with your eye than whether or not you can see you pins.

I just hope this isn't a permanent thing. I'm gonna give it a week or two and if it doesn't get better i might go see the doc. I mean it's not like super bad but in all honesty it's not good. Probably a bigger peep would help. But like what was said above I'm concerned about the eye in general. I've always had perfect vision.

Alright! I gotta go get an exam. I just feel like, and I'm not 100% sure it was from the magnifying glass, but if it was, it would have damaged the retina. If that is the case is there even much that they could do. Well I guess I will find out. Must be something. I read acre months back on neural prosthetics. They can do amazing things now tying into nerves like electrical systems with bio nano tech. I even saw that they have observed the brain of a rat at a nano level. Cut a disk out replicated the pathways with a conductive material in an artificial disk prosthetic. Re inserted the prosthetic and when the animal head it was able to preform the tasks at near the same level as before. Back on topic. There must be something they can do. And you guys are right. I gotta go in. I haven't been "in" in over thirteen years. No insurance. No money for that matter but I will find a way. Sacrifice for the greater good. I'm going in. But it will have to wait until Monday. Work beckons.

Go see an ophthalmologist not an OD. You will want someone who has been through medical school.

I would guess you have photokeratitis. Go to an eye doc. Maybe all they can do is give you some ointment/drops for the swelling/discomfort but you should still get it checked out.
