Red Oak vs White Oak

    I realize this might be old news for most guys but I thought I would put together a little video if there might be someone out there that didn't really know how to tell the difference

    The way I was taught to remember the difference. Red oaks like the indian arrowhead pointed lobes, white oaks like the white man bullets rounded lobes. Probably not PC in this day and age

    deer love the little pin oaks too, the ones with the orange meat inside. i would like to see a video on those also

    Good video. We were out last weekend and found a tree that was already dropping all kinds of acorns with a nice trail coming to it. We hung a camera and will be hunting that spot!
