Haven't seen a lot of talk about these this year. Last year, a bunch of people were discussing and debating. I still heard more on the Blazer vane more than any other. I am a huge fan of the NAP Quickfletch system. How much different are the Twister vanes than the Blazer vanes? I have been using the Twister vanes since last year. I have a couple of arrows that are needing new vanes, so was considering the Blazer vanes this time. Weigh in for me. What do you all think? Pro's and Con's.

I have never used the blazer vanes but I have used the twisters and the quick spins and I prefer the quick spins. I have had better groups with the quick spins but that's just my experience.

I have used both and the twisters are hands down better. The only thing I'll shoot.

I really like the 3.125" quick spins. Put good helical to them and watch them fly!

    Sorry this doesnt help you............LOL

Have and use both. Indifferent to one over the other, they both fly well for me.

I was using Twisters...but seem to tear very easy, so went back to Blazers.

Used to shoot blazers but now prefer the AAE Maxx Hunter 2" better.

Blazers seem to be quieter in flight to me.

I really like Blazers. Seem to be easier to find. Also seems as if most pro shops install Blazers over anything else

I have all 3 of my arrow types below fletched with a combination of 2" Blazers, Twisters, and Quick Spins.
I went out to Blackwell Forest Preserve today and shot outside for about 3 hours (I think I gave my lane to Archery Girl and her BF on my way out...didn't put 2 and 2 together until I got home.) Anyway, I charted every shot from 15-75 yards. At distances of 30+ yards, the Twisters and QuickSpins both began patterning much lower with all arrows. Appx 4" at 40, 6" @ 60, and about 10" at 75.

Why? I'm guessing the helical creates that much more drag. Now, this may make the arrow more stable in flight...but it definitely effects the trajectory badly enough that my current set up will not work shooting Blazers and NAPs...it will have to be one or the other.

nothing has changed since last year- vane choice is like bow/arrow/sight/release/broadhead choice; it's all a matter of personal preference

Switched to Norway Fusions this year and I absolutely love them. They are much more durable than other brands

I had the same exact results. I like the Quick Spins and they work great for hunting where I hunt. I never get a shot outside 30yd anyways. I like blazers for target even with a high offset, the blazers still shoot flatter and due to that, misjudging a 40-50yd target by a yard or two isn't as bad of a drop.

I decided to go back to blazers just for ease of using the same across the board.
