Hello all, I just bought a Glendel buck target. I have never owned a 3d target. I have used bags and foam targets since I first started shooting a bow about 15 years ago. i looked at many 3d targets and would have went with a Rinehart but I'm a working man and can't afford to drop $300 on a target. HOw many of you guys have used the Glendel buck target and are you happy with it?

I have one and have been very happy with it! Arrows remove easily and it is a great size! It is also great that you can remove the insert and take it with you for a target if you need on trips!

I liked ours. The core held up pretty good for as many broadheads as we shot at it.

We had to move it around a lot to mow and its legs broke off. Then its head wouldn't stay on. So we just left it as the Glendel torso for a couple years. :)

The one I had was junk! It had something hard running along the bottom of it that would ruin arrows if you hit a couple inches low. Maybe they make them different now. I bought an R&W target and haven't looked back. They're cheaper and better than the Glen Del IMO.

I bought one about a month ago, and I think it is way more fun to go out and shoot at with some buddies or family. However, I find that I get "lazy" with my preciseness at times, so I shoot spots at work for practice. I also have trouble making myself hit the intended target block, as I enjoy heart shooting the deer, lol.

I had the mid size one for three or four years. It got backed over by a tractor so I will replace it this year. I really like them.

Yeah, you can get lazy with suck a huge vital area. I add a strip of tape to make me aim for a certain spot. It helps me a lot!

Two weeks ago, Gander Mountain had the Glen Del Pre-Rut buck, like the one I have, on sale for $149.00 with a $30.00 mail-in rebate. I can kick myself for not buying another one.

Ha will do! Brand new in box to boot! Some lady won it on a raffle and didn't want it.
