I'm looking to start fetching and wrapping my own arrows. What is the best fletcher and is it easy to do?
I have a Bohning jig. it's pretty easy to use. I don't do wraps but fletching your own arrows is addictive.
Lol yeah my phone kicks my butt. I've grown fond of the NAP quick fletch but I have the Bohning jig that works pretty well
I like the bohning tower. Triple Tower® Fletching Jig | Products | Bohning Archery | Your Archery Equipment Source
I have an easy fletch but the most versatile for me is the bitzenburger fletching jig. it allows you to experiment with different fletching from straight to different degrees of offset and different degrees of helical. for those using left hand single bevel broadheads you can even get a left helical so your broadhead doesn't unscrew when it hits. I have a Arizona easy fletch from 15-20 years ago and it doesn't get any easier than that but for shear versatility and the ability to refine arrow performance, I'll stick with the bitzenburger.
OK, why have I never heard of this Arizona ezfletch????? This thing looks like it could be much easier to use than the one I have.
I use the Arizona Ez-fletch mini for Blazers. It puts a nice helical in the vanes and if I use Loc-Tite ultra control gel I can fletch a dozen pretty quickly. For wraps I use Onestringer. They are a great wrap plus they have excellent service.
