I have a couple buddies who treat their bow like and old pair of work boots leaving them here, throwing it there. Just wondering how many of you leave your bow in humid environments like the garage or a shed. I dont worry about it during the winter because of the low humidity, but during the summer months it comes on in the house with me. Maybe im just crazy haha.
When its summer I keep it hung on a hook in my spare room with the rest of my hunting treasures so its in the house but when season comes along it stays in its case.
In the house on a hanging on a dedicated hook. Humidity controlled but I don't know if humidity would hurt them anyway, If outside shooting I don't like to leave my bow exposed/stored in direct sunlight for any period of time. Hunting season it is in a case in the vehicle most of the time.
I pay too much money for my bows to treat and handle them poorly. I keep them in a spare bed room in case or hanging on the wall.
My bow stays in a Plano hard case in my house somewhere. During hunting season I will generally leave it hanging somewhere in camp for quick and easy access.
When I'm at home I kept it on a arrow/bow holder I made out of pvc, 2x4's and dowels. I bring it out side when I'm shooting and use it for a stand then I bring it in my room and use it to hold my bow.
I keep mine in a hard bow case. It's worth the time and effort to take it out and put it back in after each use than to have it exposed to potential accidents.
In the basement with the dehumidifier running all Summer on a hook from the ceiling so I can look at it every single time I am in the basement. On an older bow at a different home I would keep it in the garage usually in a case. I'm not sure if it was the bow or strings on the bow, but I had to tune that POS all of the time. Have had no problems since I have been storing them in the basement. Of course, I did change manufacturers at the time also....
I keep it on a table in a soft case out in the garage. The garage is insulated and I run a dehumidifier. I have only had the bow in a truck twice. When I brought it home and when I had new strings and cables installed. I shoot out of my garage so the only time my bow is outside is when I hunt
I keep it in a hard case out in the garage. Its not temp controlled and I have yet to notice any issues with any of my bows I have done this with.
Seems the majority keeps it in the house like me. I will leave it in the truck during hunting season though but it's in a case usually or covered up so eyes cant see from the outside.
Under my pillow!! LOL!! I keep it locked up in my hunting closet where it hangs on a special padded hook so it does not get scratched!!! During bow season it lives in a hard case locked up in my truck right next to my Lone wolf sit and climb!! Lethal combination!!
