    Influencing scrape location

I have a 250 yard fence line run between a thick timber and an alfalfa field that is like a deer super highway. Every year the bucks make scrapes about every 80 yards or so in random locations along this line. There is only one good setup location on this run and it would be helpful if they would make a scrape in range of this setup so i have a little more time to draw and get on target while they're working it. Last year i tried a tinks mock scrape but they still made their own in other spots and seemed to ignore the mock.

So anyway, here is my question. Do you guys think if i trim back every low hanging branch on this line, except the one i want them to use it will work?

It certainly could work, but they may redivert their highway to a different path with more branches if you trim back all options but one. I'd leave a few options but trim back majorly and start a mock mid october on the branch you favor.
