Ok guys, sound off. When are you planning time off for the season this year. I'm thinking the first two weeks of November for me. Blessings..........Pastorjim
I take days here and there off...job offers the flexibility. BUT....come Halloween weekend this poor hillbilly from Indiana is hitting Kansas for a dream hunt, never thought and still doubt it is real but I'm going!!!
September 2nd is the start for me ,I took the month off for Elk & Moose and early season Whitetails,November I also took off for the rutt & late season Whitetails, might squeeze some time in for some stalking time for Mulies too.
No specific time off. I plan on taking a few Friday afternoons and then opening day of gun season if archery doesn't pan out. My job offers amazing flexibility. So if I am seeing some good things, all I have to do is make a phone call and can have it off.
Usually take a couple of days at the start of firearms season so I can spend time with the kids that make it home to hunt . I have way to much time to hunt as it is , if I took extra time during archery season I'd burn out some stands .
I'm taking 2 vacation days October 1st and 2nd. Off of work the 3rd, 4th, 5th, 10th, 11th, 12th 13th! Then I'm taking the 2nd week of November off to hunt public land in IL I'm off every weekend and every other Friday plus have about 16 days of vacation time I am able to take
I have every Friday off but plan to take a couple Thursdays for 3 days in Pa or 4 days in Ohio. I also "might" take a whole week around Halloween.
I get October 13 and 14 for fall break from school and don't have any Friday classes but other than that I cant take any time off
I am taking off November 3-10 and am hoping to score my buck then or hopefully before and try to fill freezer with a doe during that time.
Every weekend, but i`m always home for my NY Giants. Whenever there is a holiday, or when school is closed during the hunting season, i`m in the woods!!
