Have you sticks/hang on guys ever considered wearing something like this harness?

I am switching over to a Muddy stand and sticks this year and need to get a better harness in order to use a linesman belt. I am a simple guy and like simple stuff. I looked at full body harnesses and for some reason I like the rock climbing harnesses. They don't have a bunch of belts and snaps in the upper body which can be a pain.

There is a thread that Thirdhandman started on this topic not that long ago (a month or two).

I prefer full harnesses but lots of guys like these.

Much more comfortable! You won't regret it. If you're not familiar with a climbing harness then seek help with hands on.

I use the treehooper belt anytime i am in a treestand... If u like simple it doesnt get more simple in my eyes. It serves as my linesman belt when setting up and when hanging permanent stands and sticks. Not to mention its comfortable and hardly notice it.

I used a climbing harness for twenty years. I loved the simplicity of it. Don't even know it's on. The one downside was that the attachment point for the tether is in the front. Maybe there's a market for one that attaches in the back...

I like the idea of it. Less is more and down here the less you have on the better.

I know that a lot of people hunt with these. I just don't like the front attachment. With a back attachment as high as it is I can have it set so it's almost snug when I sit and it's not in the way. I can also do a complete 360 in the stand following a deer with my bow in hand and not get tangled up.

I think they'd be great for climbing and hanging stands, but less ideal for hunting out of the tree.

My MUDDY harness has a linesmens belt...... why not use theirs?

Best part is the Logo on the Harness is the same color as my MONSTER RAXX :) just looks cool on the pics off my Covert Cameras :tu:

Gotta go.... need to finish fletching up some of my new Black Eagle Arrows! These new crested Carnivores are sweet!

Yes they are awesome and very comfortable. New Tribe makes one specifically for hunting. They are sadly a little overpriced for my budget.
