Thinking about getting some new binos. Looking for something not to big. Farthest I can see on my hunting spot is about 200 yards. What do you suggest?

I like my Vortex binos a lot. Got a really good deal on them in the bargain cave at Cabelas.

My dad just got the Nikon Prostaff 7's for $160. The clearest binoculars I have ever used and for a good price.

I am really happy with my Nikon Prostaff's for the money too.. I don't see why you would want to go too crazy if not doing a lot of long range hunting / spotting...

I just bought the Crossfire II's 8x42 by Vortex they are very impressive for the price (160.00) I have never had a good pair of binoculars only the cheap 50.00 dollar ones and these blow them out of the water by far. They are not very big either..

I also use and recommend Redfield. They are made by Leupold and are really solid for the money. I have the 10x42 rebel also.
