guys I want your opinion...I have health problems with my spine, and my doctor told me to trade my Matthews in to a crossbow or stop bowhunting...do you consider me a cheat?...I recently had a fellow tell me that im not a REAL BOWHUNTER on account of my barnett raptor fx. and I have to say I felt a little upset for him judging me. if a mans health problems dictate he can no longer hunt with a conventional bow...does he not have the personal option to do whatever is in the best interests of his health?...and to also be able to continue to bowhunt?...I look forward to hearing what you have to say...

Screw that guy! There is nothing wrong with a man that loves to hunt switching to a crossbow due to health problems!

    Hunt on!!

Tell that fellow he can shove his opinion up his ***.

Nothing wrong with using a crossbow - ESPECIALLY if you have health problems that prevent you from using a compound.

I don't know a bowhunter that wouldn't do the same thing as you given your situation. The hell with what some clown tells you

Let's see, give up hunting or switch from a compound to a crossbow? You better believe I'd be buying a new crossbow! Just something to be said sitting up in the tree watching nature wake up. There will always be some haters based on the equipment you use, but guess what...it's not their hunt! You do what you gotta do to continue enjoying that feeling man, who cares if you are using a crossbow, shotgun, etc!!

I wouldn't call you a cheat even if you didn't have health problems. Enjoy the fall and ignore the negative people.

Absolutely not!!!! If shooting a crossbow is what it takes to keep you in the woods hunting then grab that bad boy and head out. Don't worry about the haters, worry about the wind direction and stand placement. Hope you shoot a biggun!!!!!

Hunting is a personal thing. As long as you are legal screw other's opinions.

Tell him to shove it. There isn't anything wrong with using a crossbow, especially if you have health problems!

I hunt with both a vertical bow and a cross bow and I'm 20 and have no back issues or anything. I do what I enjoy doing and don't need no sissy boys telling me what I can and can't do haha

Forget that guy. It's a miserable person who feels the need to try and put down someone else so they feel better about themself. Nothing wrong with hunting with a crossbow. Just get in the woods and enjoy.

    ^^Beat me to it.

If it's legal, use it. Worry more about the deer you will shoot with it and less about what others think.
