Hi guys. Just a question. I`m going to local sporting goods store to pick up new binoculars. I really can only spend about $100, any suggestions on a good pair for that price? Thanks in advance for your input!

I picked up some bushnell h2o for around 100 on an out if state hunt when I forgot my nikons. They are pretty good and water proof but I still far prefer my Nikon pro staff 7.

Check out Redfield Binoculars. I have a pair of 10x42 that I paid just over $100 for and they are really nice.

If you can only spend 100 Redfields are nice. If you could come up with a little bit more I think Nikons are the best bang for your buck period.

I would put Vortex up against Nikon every day.

Any specific models inside these brand names? What about $200?

Vortex Crossfire II costs $200 and has great glass for the money.

    Thanks!
I've also been in need of a decent pair of binos. I always spent money on better rifle scopes and always just got by on cheapo binos but my last set has gotten where they hardly adjust enough to even out between the two eyepieces. Must have gotten dropped over winter or something sitting around the house and knocked something out of line inside. Cheap pair of Bushnells from Wally World.

Oooh, Amazon has them for $169 and free shipping with Prime.

I bought my Vortex Diamondback 10x42 for $199. Love them and will put them to the test this September.

I have a pair of the bass pro brand that was a little over 100 and they are actually pretty good for the price. I'm not sure of the exact name
