Would like to bring this to the attention of the members of this forum so you know where your money is going to. I have recently discovered that Muck boot company supports the Humane Society of United States(hsus). This was recently posted to their Facebook page. If you are not aware but HSUS is very anti-sportsman, hunter and ranchers. They will no longer be getting my business. just thought I would inform everybody

Don't they help abused animals...such as ex fighting dogs and stuff. Just because something is anti-animal cruelty doesn't mean it's anti-hunting. Geez!

They do very little beyond take money to make people feel human emotions about animals. It's enough to boycott, IMO.

You don't feel emotions when it comes to animals? What about dog fighting? Bear baiting?

Do a little research on them, they're about as anti-hunting as you can get. Total scam and driven by money.
I really like Mucks, but if it's true, they lost me.

Hunters on other forums such as qdma.com, huntingnet.com and archerytalk.com have been notified of who Muck is supporting

that's great, and I applaud your efforts; but make sure you also let MUCK know why you won't be buying their products.

On the flipside, I wonder if the HSUS rank and file members would demand HSUS give the money back if they knew it came from Muck and that as such hunters are likely the original source of said money. In their world, it's "blood money."

Myself and others I assume are misled by the name. The real Humane Societies that take care of domestic animals have made a website warning people about the HSUS and its falsehood. The HSUS in my eyes is stealing money from what most people really want to donate money towards which is the local Humane Societies. I just finished firing off a few emails to Cabela's and Bass Pro asking them if they are aware of the company they are selling product for. Makes me angry especially as someone who volunteers for my local Humane Society.

Well I have muck boots but I will rethink any additional purchases, may have to switch to lacrosse. Hunters need to be united in our efforts to protect the sport and repel the anti's and their misinformation campaign.

Are you against baiting of bear as a legitimate hunting alternative? If so you are promoting a position that is anti-hunter for a significant group of people which have legally hunted in this manner.

HSUS is scum, misleading adds and lies are the calling cards.
Their big fans of those bills that get introduced that have misleading titles that the low info, emotional voters blindly vote.
Now granted most punch the card because their lazy idiots who won't do a lick of research, but hsus knows this and its part of their MO.
You want to help animals? Donate to your local no kill shelter and keep hunting.

I'm a Lacrosse guy, but after all the positive reviews on here I was thinking about trying a pair of muck boots.

NOT NOW. I will be sending them an e-mail explaining why I won't be buying any of their products.

What email address has everyone been using. I sent one to the Help link on the contact us site. Anyone have a more corporate email?

I also reminded them about what happened to the Eastern Sports and Outdoor Show a few years back over a poor decision
