I don't think I would give up my Mathews for a Charger. Maybe a Carbon Spyder of Carbon Faktor, but not a Charger. However, I would encourage you to shoot the Charger. You may like it better than your Helim.

Couple things to look at... do you like the bow? What condition is it in? What year is it? What year is your helim? Bare bow for bare bow or is he asking for $ or accessories on top or vice versa? Does it's specs fit your specs? Answer these questions and we can help you make a decision or you can make the decision on your own.

What year is his bow? What year is yours? Got to your shop shoot a charger and if you like it and it's in good condition make the trade.

As a general rule of thumb when I do trades, if I get very excited when I get the offer then I know I am interested. And if everything is good then I usually go through with the trade.

What I mean by excited is that bow is what I'm looking for to a T. I just know that it's a bow I really want to shoot.

If you don't have that feeling or you're hesitant it probably isn't a good idea. I've don't that before.

Make sense. Go shoot it and of you get a smile on your face when you shoot the bow, generally you will walk away happy.

Don't trade just because it looks good, trade because it shoots good!

Here's some things to think about when trading did you buy your heli m new if so if you trade you'll lose your warranty and won't gain one by trading cause hoyt doesn't have transferable warranties. Also are you able to shoot it and look it over before you trade if so look for and damage , cracks , or blemishes or dings and listen for noise or creeks in the limbs , cams , and riser if I were you I wouldn't trade a flagship bow for a lower end bow imo . The heli m is a sweet bow I still have mine it's a shooter and so light weight but it's you shooting it go with your gut if it feels right then do it but I have to say if your asking for our opinions id say your kinda iffy so that means your gut telling you to keep the heli m that's just my opinion.

Why don't you keep your Mathews and give it a new look different color dampers a colored grip a good quality bow string with color . Id keep it and overhaul it imo.

Man you want to get rid of the Helim apparently. You have several threads on opinions to trade it and so on. Go shoot the bows and find the one YOU want and feels right dude, obviously the Helim isn't cutting it for you since you have been asking about different trades.

Quick search on ebay has a Helium selling for $670 with 4 days left. My shop sells the Charger for $400 bare, $630 for the package, new. Unless you hate the Mathews, I wouldn't make the trade. You are losing $$.

I'm a Hoyt guy but I gotta say there is no way in hell I would trade a flagship bow for a charger. The charger is a budget bow !

That's not a fair trade if your bow is beat and the charger is new. I'm a Hoyt guy and I say no way...
