I've had my Code Red Ripcord rest for a few years now, and the string is starting to wear where it goes into the rest (in other words, you can't see it until you are at full draw). Is there any way to replace this, or will I just need to get a new rest?

You can. I did on my old bow. You have to carefully take the rest apart and then you can cut and replace the string. My d-loop material was the same diameter. The end inside has to be burned and capped like you would for a d-loop. Just be careful when you open it so you don't loose any springs.

(Mine was an original rip cord, not a code red)

Thanks, guys. Good to know. It is not that bad yet (famous last words, I know!), but I wanted to see if anyone else had done it before I tried.
