I know someone had started a thread that talked about using lighted nocks and what people liked about them and which ones they recommended. I bought a pack of nocturnal nocks the "X" ones to fit my Easton Axis N-fused arrows and shot them this evening. I really like these a lot, I have never shot any other type of lighted nock but these are pretty sweet. My uncle actually bought some and shot them last week and I really liked them then when he shot. They are really easy to use and I shot them all the way out to 80 yards and they flew exactly like my arrows with my regular nocks! Needless to say I can't wait to use them for this hunting season and I recommend them to anyone so far!

I have been using them for 5 years now & won't use anything else. They have saved my "bacon" more than once.

I have been using Nockturnals ( H and S size) since last year and not one failure. On AT they crucify them as garbage but I have had a good experience with them.

I have been shooting the "S" size since last season and they haven't failed yet. They've worked flawlessly with every shoot I've taken with them.

I love shooting with my nocturnals!

Nothing beats seeing that little light disappear in the side of a deer

Never had a problem with them. I have two on target arrows they no longer light up but they have not failed or cracked

I 've been using them for 4 years or so. I did have two that the batteries gave out but I now use them on practice arrows. On of the original 3 I bought did split, but I havent had that issue since.

I have 18 Nockturnals, Red & Green. I like the Green better myself, but I have one red one I shot 3 deer with last year. I do have one green one that 3 years old and still works great.

This may be a dumb question, Do you guys shoot with them all year? Just out practicing in the yard? Or do you put them in for deer season? I've never used a lighted nock. Thanks.

I know you said you like the green better, but why? Is it the better run time or is it brighter than green?

I use the nockturnals and have had far less issues with those than other lighted nocks. I am color blind and prefer the green then blue over red as they stand out better to me. I replace the original nocks and shoot them year round to be consistent. If the battery dies I just use them for practice. With any nock I like to shoot them prior to hunting season to make sure there are no issues, such as tight nock etc. Nothing but a good experience for me so far. I am thinking about trying the nock out nocks this year to see how they work. Mainly because I like to try new things. I mean you don't know if it is better unless you try it right?

Just picked up the green nockturnals, they were the 2nd brightest. The pink ones were the brightest. I was debating between the Nocks and the Carbon Launch pads. After reading this thread went with the Nocks. Anybody use the launch pads?

I shoot them all year long. I have 6 red on my FMJ practice arrows and 6 green on my Victory V3 practice arrows. My setup for practice is the same for hunting.
