So I'm curious what everyone's thoughts are on Ozonics systems? I've read everything on their website. I've also read all the bought and paid for testimonies. I'm not a scientist and to be honest I'm skeptical. Your thoughts?
I've read and participated in many debates on ozonics on another forum. I would rather play the wind than breathe in the unhealthy ozone generated by ozonics. I don't need to kill a deer that badly.
I agree with swamp stalker...breathing in ozone cannot be healthy for you. I think it would be easier just to spray down and play the wind like others have said. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I wouldn't spend the kind of money they are asking for their product on something I wasn't 100% sure would work even sometimes. Let alone the whole being inside a blind or close proximity to something that produces ozone? Just doesn't sound like a good investment IMO.
I'm not sure how people ever killed deer before any of these new must have deer killing products came out. It's just like anything else out there market it enough and someone's gonna buy it. Just go to Bass Pro, Cabelas, ****s, etc. and it just proves that many people are mindless consumers easily seperated from their $$
I just bought one. I'll let you guys know what I think. I asked my wife what she thought, she said just by pure simple science provided that ozonics puts out a safe level IAW EPA AQI it absolutely will bleach, or sterilize your scent. Will it work? I hope so cause that damn thing is expensive. I have saved all appropriate documentation to get my money back on Ozonics 100% money back guarantee.
I carry enough crap into the woods with me for one. And like many things on the market, its most likely a gimmick. When these companies can prove, and give factual evidence that a product does as advertised, then i'll pay more attention.
I own one and have used it 2-3 times before but can't tell you that it does or doesn't work. I simply didn't use it enough to form a valid opinion, unlike some of you who never used it but clearly know it doesn't work. What I will say is that everyone I know who has used them consistently will swear up and down that they work. To each their own I guess.
Just one more thing to lug around with me that I didn't want to carry. If I wasn't filming and carrying cameras/camera arms I would probably give it another shot. Right now my pack is about as full as it's going to get.
I don't know if it works or doesn't work, I just can't understand why some hunters want to take all the fun of the chase out of hunting. Why not just hunt the wind? I think if fence hunts were free, most guys would do that instead.
Using this logic then why would anyone use any sort of scent control at all? Or wear camo? Or shoot a compound bow with a carbon arrow? The list goes on... Of course people are going to "hunt the wind". However I don't know where you hunt but I've never been in a place where the wind was consistent throughout an entire hunt or where the deer always came on the upwind side of my location. You can plan your hunt as good as you want but swirling winds and wild, unpredictable animals are never going to allow you to "hunt the wind" 100% of the time.
I agree and I use all that is on your list to better my chances. I do wonder how much of that list is really needed though. I guess there is a line every hunter has to draw and as long as it is legal, if it is fun for them then they should have at it.
This is an easy fix.... Box the ozone thing up and send it to me. I will use it and give you guys an honest review. And of it doesn't work I will blame you for me not killing a deer??????? LOL
Thing is, how will you ever really know if it works or doesn't? If you don't see deer, you blame it on something else.
