Im currently shooting G5 Strikers 125g, I like them, they make a nice sized hole. I don't like them because they are removable blades, which means every time i remove one from the arrow I have to make sure the blades don't fall out. Im thinking about buying some NAP broad heads but just want to get you fellas opinions on them.

NAP Hellrazors as very nice. I use them (70# bow) and have had zero issues. Or you can look at Trufire T-1, they are replaceable & won't fall out. I use these too (#60 bow) & never had an issue.

G5 montec's are pretty nice and very solid, easy to resharpen. Muzzy 3blade still a good choice, or my new favorite "solid broad head company's - 100g legend" Still shaves hair on my arm after 100+ times through a Block, and once into a palm tree.

If you use the Exodus I would be wary of very much of an angle when shooting. They skipped outside of the rib cage on me last year and it wasn't a super hard quarter.

Asking bowhunters which broadhead is best is like asking a roomful of attorneys a legal question. 100 bowhunters ...... 99 different opinions. Just sayin.

    NAP Killzones for me. :)

Everyone has there own opionion about broadheads. My personal favorite head is the G5 Montec. Tough as nails, super accurate, and with the two deer I shot last year they left a good blood trail. Just my .02.

^^ My Montec's didn't really leave much of a blood trail at all ;( Great shooting and tough, very little blood only reason I'm trying something new this year.

Did you throw away the threaded plastic sleeve that came with them originally?

They can be a pain to manage off-arrow without it.

I have learned to always remove mine with the broadhead pointing down and immediately put the sleeve on it so the don't come unassembled.

Other than this off arrow management issue, I like the head. But I'll be adding montecs to my quiver this year to avoid this hassle.

Used NAP Killzones 125 gast year. They make an awesome cut and the deer can't hold it long. I think my deer last year went 50 yards from where I shot it. Had 0 issues with it.

I really like the looks of the Solid broadheads.. But at $80 bucks a pack, I could try out 3 other brands of broadheads first. I shoot G5 Montecs though. I got a good deal at a little shop going out of business, so I basically would need to shoot an entire herd of deer before I need to change up my broadheads with how many I got.

I was with you I hated the bheads you had to put together. Had a couple lose the blades in the treestand lol. Then tried mechanical and was not a fan of them. I like not having to worry about the blades opening up and getting a bad shot. So the 3 blade nap thunderheads you have to put together was very sharp would have liked if they came all ready assembled. And the rage did not open for me and I shoot 60 lbs and it was a 10 yard shot on a deer. lol so I moved to magnus stingers. Good strong main beam with a pair of bleeders, lifetime warranty and crazy sharp. Ready to shoot a deer with these! Havent killed a deer with them yet, but id recommend them to you because it sounds like something you'd like.
