So the mole skin or whatever felt stuff that comes with my HDX needs to be replaced. What do you use to re-wrap it? Thanks.

Contact QAD and get a replacement. Nothing better IMO.

Wow that's expensive for what it is! My local shop gives them away if you're a customer. Go to your local shop and see if they have them cheaper.

Yeah it's ridiculous. And moleskin works better in my opinion.

It is expensive for what it is. But it is still only $3 per year since you get 3 of them per package. It isn't that bad.

I'm complaining cause the felt sucks and it's 9 dollars. Not because it's 9 bucks.

I just asked the same thing at our Archery store and they told me they have the felt stuff there to replace it.

Basspro has a cami fleece pad silencing material that works fine and gives you a 4x10 inch square for 6 bucks and will last a decade changing every year. just use sharp scissor and cut to fit.

Once my stock felt wore out, I actually used some velcro (soft side) where the arrow rests and heat shrink tube on the posts. I get zero arrow contact so the shrink tube is just in case the launcher hits the shelf. Which I also have covered in the same velcro. I am pretty anal about my bows being as quiet as possible lol.

When I installed my original felt I put fletching glue under it before I installed it and it has not moved or been damaged since the day I installed. That was over 3years ago with hundreds of shots.

If you want to piss away 9 bucks on 20 cents worth of felt, knock yourself out.

I shoot year round, almost daily unless it's really cold or the snow is too deep in the winter. I have thousands of shots through mine. It actually wore out just from drawing the bow so many times. Nobody local stocked it so I made my own solution.

When I had a ripcord rest on my old bow, I made a little glove for the prongs out of an old pair of camo gloves. (yes, I sewed them). Another possible way would be to wrap the prongs in yarn? I might try this with my ArmorRest.

Got the felt. Pre cut. Easy to put on. It was worth it imo.
