Has anyone used Tinks hot-shot #69 or buck bomb? If so, how do they work

Had one good result with buck bomb doe in estrus, fresh scrape sprayed some on his scrape, got into tree.. sounded like a cow running though the woods to me, BIG BIG BIG buck, I got busted.. First year bow hunting, first buck ever saw, prolly 160 range.. Couldn't keep my cool.

No other luck besides that one time with any scent.

I've used buck bomb doe in estrus and the Doe P, nothing. I did manage to check the wind with it, turns out the wind was going straight to my face.

I have used Buck Bomb and sprayed at the base of the tree I was in. Had a doe 25 yards down wind and she didn't bust me. I don't know if it is any good as an attractant but seems to work as scent cover.

I've never ever had luck with buck lures of any kind. I've ended up using doe in heat on my boots for a cover scent instead.

I've never had any luck with scents. I read someone (Maybe Alsheimer?) who stated that every buck he's ever seen find a doe in heat trail always goes the correct direction. His hypothesis was that the buck can tell that the scent in one direction was slightly fresher than the other direction. If buck's noses are that sensitive, I'm skeptical that a bottled Scent is going to work.

James Valley is the only scent I've ever had any luck using.

I'm the same as most everyone else. I have used both with no success. I use it as a cover scent now. Does it help... I don't know honestly, but it makes me a little more confident that I won't get busted!!!

I have used Buck Bomb and it didn't work for me. I have heard good things about Tink's #69 and I am trying it this year.

Sounds like my 1st bowhunt ever. Huge buck came to 25yds then winded me and galloped away. Best bowhunting experience ever!

It's funny how I was sad I got busted, but all I could go was try to stop shaking and smile as I watched him run away with that big flag in the air.

Going to try tinks this year.

On another note: Had no cam pics for 2 weeks, sprayed doe-P bomb on the ground, two bucks and a doe on cam within two days.. Ironic? Maybe so, I'll have to wait another week to pull the card at a location not to far away and see.

Never used Buck Bomb and didn't have any success with Tinks. I have used Mrs Doe Pee's estrous scent with very good results.

I've used various brands of doe pee, tinks included, with some success. Buck bomb seems gimmicky so I've never tried it, based on what I'm reading here I probably never will.

I had the same type of experience with a big 8 point last year. He came in to about 5 yards behind me. I had no clue that he was there. I gently brushed a bug off of my knee. When I did, he blew and bolted. I sat in the stand shaking for the next 30 minutes. About the time I stopped shaking, a doe walked through about 30 yards in front of me and I was able to shoot my first deer with a bow. I am planning to hunt only with my bow this year. Shooting that doe last year was like shooting my first deer all over again.
