Where do you start to look for bedding areas? What are you looking for?

Anywhere where you think a whitetail could bed with little to no disturbance. Tall grass and small, secluded draws are a great place to start.

Depends on the ground you're hunting. I do almost all of my in woods scouting late Winter/early Spring. Buck beds are typically smaller and in denser cover than doe beds which are usually spread out so they can cover multiple directions. I find most buck beds on ridge points and brushy points that shoot out into fields or marshy areas. Good luck!

Look for thick areas with lots of underbrush. Also deer like to bed on south facing slopes to get afternoon sun. Pay attention to wind direction. They will want to stay as far down wind as possible as to catch any scent that travels their way.
