Got my Ladder stand up in the area I chose to hunt this year. A lot of white oaks in the area and an old farm rock wall on ether side of the plot. shooting lanes all cleared out licking stick set hope it all comes together. I think there is a bedding area right where I am hunting. Lots of signs that they are traveling through my area. think I set up a nice spot. can't wait to hunt this spot!

My stands stay up year round, so except for any changes or checks on straps, I'm always ready to go.

Will head out this week to check everything over. I'm probably going to add one more hang on this year and will get that out before the end of August.

I placed new stands (and moved one) within weeks of the close of deer season and before turkey season. I like setting stands while the leaves are off, all the information I gathered about deer movement is still fresh on my mind and the travel routes are easy to see.

I leave my ladders up year round. I will check the straps at some point before I hunt.

I got all the stands hung here in KY. Will be heading to Indiana in a week or so to start working on the farms there.

I am having zero luck on the public ground I hunt finding enough sign to be convinced I want to hunt that spot the first day. In Ohio they are hung and we are planting. In Pa I am still searching.

I'm hunting all public land this year so I will be carrying my climber in and out with me. Still got some scouting to do though.
