Went out to do some shooting this evening from the second story deck. Shot a half dozen or so arrows, pulled and went again.....

25 yds and about 20 or so ft up was shooting good and all of a sudden while at full draw all the muscles in my upper back seemed to spasm, release fired and... THUNK lol after a WTH?? I just laughed and went to have a look.
I expected to find the arrow buried in the wood but it seems to have caught an angle and tore a trail before catching the bottom of the target.

I carefully had a look and flexed the holy poo out of the thing... appears fine, BUT considering I'm a bit of a nerd about composites I am gonna take it into our NDI lab Monday and see if it's pregnant....... OOORRR has any defects.

Lol! Aren't you just a high tech redneck? :tu: I'd be more concerned about the spasm. Shoot after that? How did it feel?

Spasm sounds weird. So you're going to ultrasound your arrow?

Ya I shot another doz arrows no problem, I had just gotten back from about a 6.5 mi ride on my Mt bike (a lot for this fat dude) so I was a lil tired to begin with...:)

And just what I do... a few fun toys around. Ultrasound though has always fascinated me, and I am a certified UI, so I like to go play with it when I have a good excuse.

Tell the truth, it's Friday night and you've had a couple too many.
