What sharpener or stones do you recommend for BH sharpening?

I am looking to sharpen my BH's rather than buying replacement blades every time they get dulled. I like the features and functionality of the Bloody Buddy by Spot Hogg, but I don't like the price, so a standard stone/stone set looks more enticing. I am not sure what grit of stones to use, or technique, so any suggestions would be appreciated.

I have a KME BH sharpener that worked great when I sharpened blades. I would probably consider parting with it if you are interested.

I have a Spyderco Tri-Angle Sharpmaker. I bought it for my knives and it works awesome. It's pretty good for broadheads, as well. MSRP is around $100. I think I paid around $75 at Cabela's. I'm absolutely diligent about how sharp my knives are and they get sharpened almost every use so for me this is more than worth it. It works for serrated blandes, straight blades, combo blades, single bevel edges, double bevel edges, fishing hooks, scissors, nail clippers, and it works with broadheads too. Give it a look.

I sharpen mine on an Arkansas stone and finish with a leather strop.

I use Muzzy MX-3 broadheads, and this company's web site saya it is not for 3 or 4 blade broad heads. Does the BH have to be assembled to use this sharpener, or can you just disassemble the BH and sharpen the blades 1 at a time with this sharpener?

I always sharpened one blade at a time.
