The Chillr between the two. The McPherson Series is worth a look. The Creed is Rock Solid.

Between those 2 I'd say the Chill. It was actually the bow I was thinking of buying until I shot the Carbon Spyders. I thought the Creed was a turd! Harsh draw, slow and looked cheap compared to the others.

I think the creed is an all around good bow as far as fps, weight, draw, smooth
Never shot the chill but have heard it one of the better ones so really need some opinions on it before I spend that hard earned money on it!!

I didn't like the draw cycle of the creed at all. I really liked the chillr.

When you shoot the Chill you'll get what I'm saying about the Creed.

I shot the Chill R today, and I own a creed. My vote would go with the Chill R if those are your only two choices. Chill in my most humble opinion is a much better performing bow over all. I went with a spyder carbon. Good luck my friend because you have some tough choices to make at the moment.

Shoot all the models they have and then make your choice. I went thinking I was going to get a Heli-M, but wound up falling in love with the Creed XS. If you do it that way, you'll never regret or second guess your purchase. It's what feels best to you.

Keep an eye on craigslist. Plenty of people selling their regular Chill bows to upgrade. Get one on the cheap and throw on the new rock mods and voila. Hell of a bow.

Great timing on this thread! I sold my DNA and my brute-x and will be going to the pro-shop this weekend hopefully. I'm going to join the mathews family! I was leaning towards the creed xs, and not the chill r because of the brace height and dual cams on the chill r.
The DNA had a 6" brace height and dual cams and i wasn't a consistant enough archer to control it. is the creed that much different with the same brace height and dual cams? With my brute (single cam) i broke nocks at 40 yards with a 7 1/2 brace height.

EDIT: I'm not worried about speed.

If you didn't like the short brace and dual cams and want a short bow the creed xs is the bow for you.
