I was just wondering what the average distance is you usually get your deer at.

I'd say 20-22 yards, ranging from 15-35 for me.

I try to setup no more than 25 yards from a run...that being said the farthest i've shot at/harvested a deer from was 35 yards...it's those buck runs that you dont know exist that always get me!!

Probably an average of about 17 yards, but have shot deer between straight down out to 40 yds.

Atta girl...don't rush it but I think you'd have enough time if you have some people in your corner helping you out...

15-30 yards. Doe I shot last year was about 12. Much farther than 30 and I'll pass I'd say if everything was perfect 40 would be my max.

Thankfully I do! Next Sunday we'll go to a 3d range in the woods with tree stands and the whole enchilada.

Try shooting at 30 yards, when you go down to 25-20 yards it is easy

practicing at long distances like 60+ yards make those 15-35 average shots chip shots.

I've shot three deer with a bow and they were all at sixteen yards. Thirty yards is pretty much the extent of my comfort zone.

Of the two deer I shot, my spike last year was at 23, and my doe the year before was at 15.
