What do you have ready for the season?

What do you have to do yet?

    Done:

Bow is sighted in, tuned and shooting well.
About 5 stand locations prepped and ready to go.
Hunting Arrows have BH's mounted, spin tested and lighted nocks on.
All of my gear purchased (I think).

    To do yet:

    Plant fall food plots.
    Get D loop replaced
Have about 3 more stand locations to prep.
    Wash clothes before the season.

Got my water holes in, planted some apple trees as well.

Still gotta clear my fall food plot. The farmer hasn't got the early hay down yet because of the rain so my one farm might not have beans this fall.

    Pretty much nothing. :D
We do have about 8 stands at the lease that are hung, trimmed and ready to go.

    Not Done:
Figure out what arrow/broadhead combo I'm going to hunt with
Get Chill R tuned and sighted in properly
Spray & plant fall food plots
    Finish hanging/trimming stands
    Put out trail cameras
Sort through mass quantities of plastic bins to figure out where all my crap is at and what I may be missing
Figure out how to kill something with antlers on its head

You'd be surprised. People move up here and don't know how to do anything.

So far I've done the following:

    - Scouted and walked every inch of the new lease. I've walked the entire thing now about 3 times.
    - Setup half a dozen cameras.
    - Hung 5 stand setups
    - Posted the entire road frontage of the property
    - Obtained hunting permits for 3 separate public land options
    - Spent hours looking at maps for the public spots - Already have key areas outlined so I can scout them

    Still need to do:

    - Prep and plant a few fall plots (waiting on ATV purchase)
    - Hang another 3-4 stands and prep a handful of trees for climber use
    - Scout some of the public land that I obtained permits for
    - Maybe setup some mock scrapes
    - Figure out what arrows and broadheads I'll shoot this year
    - Dial the bow in for a hunting setup

I haven't been this way in years, but right now I can't even think about fishing this summer. All I want to do is get out to that lease and do more work and check pictures.

    Done:

    -not enough

    Need Done:

    -far too much

This is sadly how it always looks even if I took time to write each list in detail. Second list you would think gets shorter but sadly grows faster and faster.
