Would you do it and what would you do with it?

I would tag em then get the full hide done as I know I wouldn't have the room for a full mount. If its a nice buck I may do a shoulder mount but still would rather like a full hide hanging on the wall!

In iowa it's illegal for some reason but if it were I wouldn't hesitate.

Do you mean piebald or full blown albino with red eyes?

I'd shoot a piebald. I would not shoot an Albino even if it was legal.

IDK. Just wouldn't. Guess I would rather just see it live.

That's tough. Knowing the next guy is going to shoot it I probably would. If I knew it was going to live then I definitely wouldn't. Call that greedy I suppose.

I'd shoot it and do a full body mount, probably a once in a lifetime opportunity.

Pretty full. I have seen some that had a small brown patch that are 99% full white that I would take. Either way would you shoot both?

Very true. I used to hunt grounds where I would see 3 pie bald all the time but never presented a shot. Haven't had an encounter since and that was around 9 years ago. Doubt I will see any in the next few years either.

Speaking of piebalds and true albinos, has anyone seen or shot a melanalistic deer ( A deer that is opposite of albino, a really dark to black deer)

Oh I forgot to mention they are even more rare than a albino.

I had a buddy locate one on cams but never closed the deal. She was very very dark. Wouldn't know for sure what she was unless he got to at least see her in stand but never would show. Would be sweet too to have that skin done too

Do you mean tanned with hair on or buckskin, because even normal colored deer skins with made into buckskins come out white with brain tanning, they get the color from smoking. So what I'm saying is that the black might just be in the hair, you never know until you do it though.
