Whats going on guys. Ive been running cams for the past two weeks and have two nice bucks on cam already but the coons this year are unbelievable. Ive got ways of keeping them out of the corn and stuff i use in front of my cams but was just interested in everyones methods they use on here. Thanks Jake.
Well id say put some kinda scent around but then again you dont want it to affect your deer... what about a trap and then release them else where get them out of there totally.... Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk
I stopped putting out corn because I was tired of getting thousands of pictures of coons. Didn't really work. My last pull had about 1400 pictures with about 70% being coons. At least it's not costing me any money now.
I trap them and sell the hides. I use that to pay for traps/mineral/etc. I use them to end up helping me out a little.
I built an elevated platform feeder and used pieces of tin on the legs and sides so they couldn't get a grip to climb up and eat all my corn. Works pretty good.

I can take some. Its literally just 2by4's for legs and a sheet of particle board nailed to the tops of the legs. I made sides on the top part with more 2by4's. I buried the legs about 2 feet in the ground so it wouldn't move so the coons couldn't push it over. Really simple to do took about 30 minutes to do the whole thing.
