What brands of safety harnesses do y'all like the most and why? Thinking about buying one and just wanted to see which ones are the best! Thanks!

Only Hunter Safety Systems for me! Love the comfort and ease of use. And I strongly suggest you change your comment from thinking about buying one to BUYING A HARNESS! Hate hearing about people hunting from trees without wearing a harness. Just doesn't make any sense.

I had an older HSS vest and it was nice but very heavy. It was reversible which was nice when we need to wear orange in archery here in Pa. I went to a Muddy and love it. It is so light and comfortable I've honestly forgot I was wearing it and driven home with it on LOL.

I'm with jfergus. Stop putting it off and don't even consider climbing another tree without a harness on.

I have two Tree Spider Micro Speed Harness with bungee tethers, one for me and one for people who hunt on my land.

The rule is if you want to hunt my property you ARE GOING TO WEAR this or you own safety harness. Nobody has baulked yet, in fact after using it they are very grateful and complimentary. I also have "life lines" to snap into for the climb up the ladder stands.

HSS Ultralite. Light, comfy, safe. What more could you ask for?

Glad you're getting a harness. It just might save your life.

Tree Spider. The HSS is to hot for FL so I sold it.

I also made Safety lines for all of my stands.

I use the one that comes with the tree stands. I am thinking about getting a hunter safety.

I also use the ones that came w/ my stands. They are cheap and effective.

HSS Ultra lite. use it a few times and you will wonder why you even bothered messing with a free one that came with a stand!!

If you have an extra $100 to burn, then go for it. Might as well pay an extra $30 for a safety line while you're at it.

Its pretty amazing how easy it is to get on a free harness when you do it a few times.

I bought a Muddy last season and absolutely love it. Light and comfortable. I don't even realize I'm wearing it.

I also use the ones that come with the stands, they just aren't comfortable to me which is why I am wanting to buy a different one. Guess I should have clarified in my first post! My bad!

HSS Hybrid for me as well. Light, comfortable, and lots of trust in the system. Saved a friends life a few years back.
