I got talked into the small diameter arrow hype. So I went out and bought some easton axis arrows and now my quiver won't hold the arrows tight its a 5 arrow quiver but I only use 3 arrows my quiver is a truglo carbon xs and I really like it any idea's I was thinking about putting big fishing weights in the 2 empty grippers so it would push the grippers closer together would this work? I don't have that quiver so I'm not sure if your plan will work or not, but it's certainly worth a try. I've noticed with a few quivers I've owned that the arrow grippers get worn in over time and work fine for standard diameter shafts, but then are too large for some of today's small shafts.
I doubt the weights will work. Maybe for the gripper closest to them. I would cut some small strip of moleskin or female Velcro to line the inside of the grippers with.
Did you contact Tru-Glow to see if they offer a gripper for small diameter shafts? It is worth a call.
Thanks I'm gonna try this and I called truglo they don't sell smAll diameter grips Sent from my iPod touch using Tapatalk
Glad I could help. I think it will be the cure to your dilemma. It has worked like a charm for me. That was a DIY that I sent to Traditional Bowhunter Magazine and an installment in our organization's newsletter. Sent from my iPad Mini using Tapatalk Bows, Broadheads and Backstraps
