What are you going to be doing with it? Hunting? If so, I would look at Elite or Obsession if your going used. Not sure if you meant new or new to you bow. You get a warranty with them even if you get it used. Great bows too. It's hard buying used...from what I have seen most want an almost new price...lol. If looking for a single cam....Mathews are nice.
If your looking to buy new id say mission or elite if your looking for a flagship used bow get a mathews or obsession.
I shot an Elite Energy the other day and to say I was impressed would be an understatement. Blessings........Pastorjim
Hoyt Charger is an amazing bow for $500. If you went to the upper end you could probably find a Hoyt Faktor between $750-$800. Either one of those bows are great!
Don't look over used bows, I have a Strother, made in Michigan and its a great bow, got it used for $400 bare. Gives you some room for all the other cash needed for hunting haha
If you look around you can get a good deal this time of year on the 2012-2013 new bows. Dad and I went to our local Mathews shop about a month ago and he got a totally lost CREED for 625. They also had ZXT's there for 525. Just shop around and go to your local shops and see what they have left over from last year on sale.
Why thank you, and here I thought you just kidding when you wanted me to send you pics of myself. lol
I have my old Mathews chill with Ripcord SOS on ebay right now. I'd let it go for $700, great shape and never hunted with it.
This does not answer your question but I would not buy any bow unless I had a chance to shoot one first. Its all about fit and feel. Get those right and generally everything else follows. I would recommend going to a bow shop and shoot a few and find out what you like. If they are above your price range like others said check forums for used bows. Lots of people dump semi new bows every year. Good luck.
Go to Archery Talks classifieds tons of bows for sale in that price range even E 35s. Elites warranty is transferable can't go wrong there.
