So I've decided to make a back quiver because I always take my bow mounted one off whenever I practice and get to my location, and I'm worried my Rage 2 blade mechanical turkey & whitetail broadheads will catch on my quiver. Does anybody have suggestions for an easy-to-tune fixed blade?

My quiver will be all hand stitched and tooled 8-10 oz. veg tanned leather, if anyone is interested in making one, I'll take pictures as I work. It won't be very soon, I need to order more leather first and don't have enough saved up for it yet.

    B.T.W.: I'm using a 2013 Alpine Ruckus 50lb, 27.125" draw if that helps.

I've been wondering about those. What's the diameter of the cutting surfaces? I only see 5" total cutting area.

I can tune just fine, i stick to inside 50 yards though. 6" groups @ 50

I was thinking one with a chisel tip, mostly because it would be less likely to get stuck in the bottom of my quiver.

    What unit?

I have heard nothing but great things about Magnus Stinger Broadheads. If I ever use a fixed blade again, I will try them first.

Right now I shoot Montec G 5. I have also used Thunderheads and Muzzys. I like the way the G5 fly.

Montec's, slicktricks, stingers. And if you have the bucks and want a head you can re-use for years and just resharpen. Original German Kinetic silver flames, not the ABS ones.

I switched from Gerber to Slick Tricks due to Flight Problems. Now everything is fine.

Muzzy 3 blades are about as good as it gets! Magnus stingers are great too.

I'm a big fan of the NAP HellRazors. That's what I switched to last year, though I still carry a few KillZones.

I used the Magnus Buzzcuts this year and I was happy. This year I will be using the Magnus buzzcuts and stingers. I like two blade broadheads.

I would not hesitate to use QAD Exodus, Tru-fire T-1 or NAP Hell Razor.

Wow, 14 replies in less than 22 hours!

Thank you all for the advice, I'll be ordering them next weekend after looking at EVERY broadhead suggested.
