What do you use and why? I'm looking to get a new case, just don't know what to get. Right now I just have a cheap soft case, but I'm looking for something with a little more protection during travel.
what type of traveling?just in a car or are we talking airplanes.i have just the basic plano hard case.its nice to throw in a car and have dropped my stand on it. has lock holes on it so kids don't get in it.wouldnt take it on a plane. its just a nice basic hard case.
I don't expect to fly with it, so really just a good quality case. One option I think I would like is to be able to store it with my quiver on.
I would suggest the Plano All Weather Case. It's a durable, hard plastic case with a rubber seal with locks built into latches. I have one for my Elite I bought this year and I love it. Sent from my iPhone 5S
I am a huge fan of the Lakewood cases. Can store your bow with quiver and arrows still on it and you can get an arrow case and accessory case that will fit inside the case. I can get you great pricing on these if your interested!
I really, really, really, really like my Lakewood bowfile case. The only thing I don't like about it is that it is really bulky compared to other cases. But it is worth it IMO.
I really like my Plano Bone Collector case, its good for real travelling like flying, has locks, can hold the quiver w/ arrows. One bad thing is it weighs a ton. My old normal Plano Protector was fine too, but you aren't flying on an airline with it. Whatever you do, do NOT buy the Plano Parallel Limb Bow Case. It looks kinda cool but the plastic is about half the thickness and durability of the Plano Protector.
If you're flying.. SKB no question. They have a contents warrenty in case the airlines bust your stuff up. For anything other than flying, my vote goes for this. Plano Molding | Hunting | Hard Bow Cases | 114400 PARALLEL LIMB BOW CASE
Purchased my Plano bow case at a Rummage Sale for $5 then modified it to hold a lot of other stuff. Plano Bow Guard SE Pro Series 44 Bow Case-432351 - Gander Mountain
Tarantula hybrid structured soft case. Lots of pocket space for all my crap and holds the bow real secure
I have the same one. But I leave my quiver on. Walmart had them for $20 after Christmas. I already had one and now I have 3.
I am buying a Lakewood Double Bow case on Monday! I have heard nothing but good reviews on this case. I have only used hard cases in the past, but this case seems to be best and most practical for me.
skb hard case for travel, can fit 2 bows if quivers removed. When I travel to texas to hunt hogs I can fit my bow and rifle in the same hard case. Hoyt case for normal/driving travel. hoyt case has pockets inside for gear, also big enough for my CST with the BG 6" dovetail.
Thanks guys for all the Lakewood orders! Anyone else interested let me know! Sent from my iPhone 5S using Tapatalk
