Same here. I have come to like the all black look.

This can be thrown in with what camo works best. It comes down to what the hunter likes.

My last 3 bows are black. My new bow (1 month) is too. Well, except for the NAP Apache Carbon rest........they only offer it in carbon.

I like to use black accessories. Then they match any bow you want to put them on.

No sir. The deer will and should never get a chance to see it. By then, it is too late! :tu:

Here seems like a good place to ask: Can deer see the color blue? I picked up my bow from the shop on the way home and the guy riding with me said one of the only colors deer can see is blue. Is he correct?

About the only thing I would be concerned with is if the bow has any gloss finish to it. That shine can reflect and a deer can spot that easily. I feel black items stick out like a sore thumb in most of my stand locations but for what little a bow has it should be fine.

I have been told the same thing. For the little bit of blue... in terms of your string and accessories you'll have and other hunters have on their bows also, I don't think it will ever make a difference in the field. I'd be worried about movement over anything.

I'm not. I know that they'll see movement before they see the string

Simply stating movement trumps colors...thats all. Congrats on the new string btw, Hutch builds some quality sets I love mine! What materials you go with?

Good choice, that stuff is great... Went with the same for my string, but BCY Trophy for my cable wanted to quiet it down as much as possible and absorb as much vibration possible. Worked out great.

If you don't have camo then make sure your bow is color coordinated... down to the very last thing, the deer will not notice you as much.
