Just got done ordering some Monster Raxx! Going to start up mineral sites as soon as comes in. Heard a lot of great things about this stuff so decided to go try it out.

I have a feeling you will enjoy what you see! They really dig that stuff up! Good for overall health of the deer herd too, especially this time of the year.

Great choice! This spot has had 30-40lbs of Monster Raxx added to it since April 2013. The deer seem to eat it up as fast as I can put it down.

Set a site up a month ago... Checked the cam and had over 1000 pics in 3 weeks. They didn't touch the trophy rock I put out last year. They love it and I'm sure you will too.

I love the stuff! By far the best results of the different stuff Ive tried (probably 5 other brands, including trophy rock). Wish I could afford to just buy a pallet of the stuff and put a ton out lol

So how often do you refresh the site?

It really depends on your deer density. I usually don't let it go much more than a month this time of year, later in the year you can tone it back to every other month if you want. I pretty much refresh each site every month year round.

Make sure to loosen up the soil pretty good before applying. When starting a new spot, I try to loosen the soil and then I will add 1/2 of the bag. I'll mix it up with the soil and add the remainder of the bag to the top. I have had good results adding some sort of log or stump to my site. I add the remaining half of the bag to the top of the stump along with spraying it with a heavy dose of Monster Raxx liquid attractant.

It seems to help with holding the mineral in the site keeping it from leeching out with heavy rains.

I usually put out a bag at each mineral sight every 2-3 weeks depending how well they are hitting it.

I am definitely a "stumper" when it comes to my mineral sights. I pour it right on half rotten stumps and by the time fall rolls around the deer have completely eaten the stump. I should do a Before-and-After photo

Actually found a few pictures that you can see what the deer do to the stumps... This stump barely lasted a month as you can see by the dates

(of course they didn't post in the right order, but you get the picture)

I think when its time to order some more I will get more than one bag. They just have a great price for it!

I'm sure it's good, and not to knock it but for the same price I get a 25 lbs bag of mineral that has nearly the exact same ingredients at the same ratio and I don't pay shipping.
