Suppose you were hunting and were presented with an opportunity at two world class whitetails. Suppose they were both directly in front of you at 20 yds both at good angles both relaxed and both clear unobstructed shots. On is a 180s class typical 10 and the other is a 220s class non-typical. Both similar width and mass which one would you shoot?
Either. But for arguments sake, I'd shoot the non-typical if it had a drop tine or some other really cool feature. If not, then I'd shoot the typical.
Tough choice. But I think I'd be launching my arrow at the non typical any day of the week. I love perfect typicals but don't think I could shoot it in that scenario. Sent from my SCH-R970 using Tapatalk
40 inches is a big difference... If it was a 220 nontyp vs a 200 typ I would shoot the typ all day long, but 180 vs 220 I think i would shoot the nontyp unless there was something special about the 180 buck. Hard choice though...
Well if that was the notyp I would shot the 180 typ because I personally dont like those messy racks. But if it was this 220 nontyp I would shoot sweet 16. Although, If i have my facts right, this scored about 220 nontyp gross and 180 typ net so it fits both categories
It would depend on the rack of the non typical. If he was basically clean 200" 10 with 20 inches of extras like stickers, split brow and maybe a drop then i'm shooting the NT but if it is a messy wad of ugly twisted antler then I'd shoot that 180. What would probably happen is I would wet my pants at the sight of them and not be able to pull back my bow
The non typical personally. Glad Ill never be put in that situation though because it wouldnt be easy lol
In all honesty, I would probably get too excited and put an arrow in the ground halfway between them Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
If you picked typ: 180" 10 in velvet or 180" 10 out of velvet? Same for the nontyp guys: 220" nontyp in velvet, or 220" nontyp out of velvet? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
