Ok I just posted a thread about how Im gona be only hunting public land this year. My families land is to far and I can't find a lease by me and I lost the 2 I had. Im looking for the best and lightest hang on I can get for lugging it in and out of the woods every hunt .I have a lone wolf alpha but that's a little heavy for how much I'll be carrying. I have 4 lone wolf sticks and 8 pro x sticks. Im gona use the pro x sticks there more compact. But what's a lighter stand that's good I was looking at the lone wolf assault II it's lighter than my alpha. Are there any others in the 11lb range or lighter that are worth buying ?

Keep an eye out for the XOP Air Raid. Very similar to the Assault but less expensive.

If I had only one stand, It'd be an Assault II. Since I have an older assault, any new stands I buy with be Alphas. They'll most likely be left out, where the Assault is my go to run-and-gun stand. I pack anywhere from 3-5 sticks on it. Usually 5 if I'm going in blind.

Do not buy an XOP. Just google them and see all the terrible reviews. Lone Wolf for sure.

They did have issues, mainly with finish and hardware. With who is now involved with the company I bet these problems are behind them. Lone wolf I feel is still your best bet but API is coming out with a cast stand this year also. Cast platform is the most important for silence.

If you're look for the best, lightest, most versatile hang-on stand you simply can't beat the Lone Wolf Assault. I have two that I use specifically for packing in an out when I want to setup in new areas and they're wonderful. Quality is second to none, and they're made in the US.

I don't think you'll find another stand that offers the same level of quality, silence or is as light as the Assault. Others may try, but there's only one Lone Wolf. :tu:
