I want to replace last years arrows. Last year was really my first year bowhunting and I used all 6 arrows I bought quite a bit with target shooting so I've decided to purchase some new arrows. Should I just go to my local shop or do you guys buy them cheaper somewhere online?

I have bought a dozen arrows from Deer Crossing Archery and like them. I usually try to buy them at my local shop and will probably go back to buying them there. I recommend buying them from your local shop.

There are lots of places you can buy them online if you 1. Don't mind having someone else build them. 2. Don't mind paying extra to have them built the way you want them, or 3. Don't mind ordering blank shafts and either building them yourself or, my preference, buying Quik Fletch and making them yourself. Some dealers are way better than others at making sure you have the right shaft. Our Hoyt dealer tries to sell whatever he has in stock whether it is spined correctly or not. Make sure you know what you need and want before going to a local dealer.

That would be entirely up to you but, I like to support my local Pro Shop so I purchase from them most times when I need arrows. It helps when the Pro Shop near you is filled with Awesomeness and not all are the same. I hope yours is just as cool and otherwise find a place that overflows with awesomeness and get 2 dozen arrows there.

I always get all my arrows, bows and accessories from my pro shop. By far the cheapest. The guy that owns the shop is a hoyt/pse dealer that is retired and does it as a hobby. He sells all his stuff for what he pays plus 5%. Its amazing. I bought my carbon element rkt brand new when it came out in 2012 for $950. :tu:

I order mine off a couple shops on Ebay. Or like Stick n String said above. I bought some of the Deer Crossing Archery arrows to try a while back....i'm VERY impressed with them.

My local pro shop offers some better pricing than I can get anywhere else, other than becoming a dealer myself.

Hunters friend or AT classifieds. Sometimes ebay. My pro shop is not someone I like to deal with.

My buddy has a local shop, so I support him as much as possible. A benefit of buying arrows from him that you can buy them by the arrow, by the half-dozen, or dozens.
