I know this question has been asked pretty much every single day on this forum... But what is a good sight for me? It is different for everyone, as in preference, etc but I would like some opinions.

I am looking to upgrade as I am still shooting the Tru Glo 3 pin that came with the bow when I bought it from a pawn shop. Sight will be used strictly for hunting whitetail, no 3d, etc.

    What I'm shooting:
    28" draw at 60lbs
    2006 Bear Instinct

    What I'm looking for:
I would like to stick with a 3 pin sight
Money isn't really an issue - I am willing to spend $100-200
    Bubble level is a must

I have heard of the big names such as HHA, Spot Hogg, Axion, etc but have never heard first hand experience and what makes one better than the other.

Black gold ascent. I just love the concept. My AXT is the same concept but I think the pins of the black gold may be easier to see.

If not one of those, trophy ridge are great sights. I had a 7 pin and was hugely impressed. Kind of regret selling that one.

Check out the IQ bowsight with the retina lock. I LOVE mine. I no longer use a peep which is way better for shooting during low-light. Also, the retina lock is amazing. Takes probably 50 arrows to get used to but when you do, it is awesome. It keeps you from torqueing your bow even the slightest bit. I never realized how many little things I was doing that was torqueing my bow. My groups are already way tighter than ever before. Plus it creates muscle memory so you are more consistent.

People will now say its "too much going on" or "too much to look at". But that is not true. It is simply an extra feature and you only look at it if you want. I look at it every shot and it helps me slow down and go through my process. During deer hunting season, I wont even look at it any more. Maybe ill glance at it if I have gloves on. Very durable sight too and great pins.

Black Gold Ascent is very intriguing... The more I research, the more and more I am loving it.

The customization on it is incredible.

Does anyone have some information on the difference between the .19 and .10 fibers? I am young guy with 20/20 vision... What do you recommend/prefer?

I shoot black gold sights and id never go smaller than .019 pins, .010 are just too small, and i have good eyes.

Pin quality goes a long ways. That's one reason I like the trophy ridge so much, they have great pins. The smaller the pin, the easier to blurr out.
I like .019 fibers myself. They're big but not too big.

If you can, try some out.

American Quality goes a long way too, thats why id purchase Black Gold over Trophy Ridge anyday. Black Gold fiber optics are quite possibly the best fiber optics in the industry. Always been happy with their products

i just went from a 5 pin .019 to a single pin adjustable .010 and honestly after shooting both i would never go back to a .019 it looks like a beach ball to me now and blocks the target too much at longer distances.

Spott Hogs are built like a tank and have very good brite fiber. Love their construction.

I shoot a 4 pin Sword Twilight Hunter. My top two pins are 0.019" and the bottom two are 0.010". I find I like the smaller pins at longer distances since they block less of the target. I am 42 years old but have good eye sight still.

Sword and now Axcel Armourtech sights are my favorites. The Axcel is easy to adjust and rock solid.

Just picked this up today. [IMG]

Top three pins are .019. Bottom two are .010.

Now I just have to figure out how to use it. It comes with 54 different sight tapes but the slowest speed is 244.5 fps. Lol. I think my bow is pushing 210 fps right now.

It will be easier to build a sight tape your self for your setup. You're gonna love that sight!
