Does any one have any experience with these broadhead? Was wondering if these were better than the MX-3 or about the same? Thanks, jr 1968
I have not shot them personaly, but from what i was told is that they fly great. They have a smaller cutting diameter than the mx-3. For me the mx-3 flew dead on with field points out to 80 yards when i was practising. For people shooting bows that arent tuned properly my guess is they will fly better than an mx-3 would since muzzy states they fly like field tips, and they are a bit more compact than mx-3s.
I plan on trying them out this year, but I haven't had much luck finding them in local shops. With all of the bootleg broadheads floating around I am hesitant to buy them online.
They are ruthless. Last year I experimented pretty heavily with different broadheads and the Trocar's were among the sharpest and best shooting fixed blade. I shot a doe at I think 13 yards - the blood trail was great and she didn't make it far at all. And you cant really beat the price, I would recommend.
Wanted to see if I could bring this thread back to life. Interested in trying the trocars. Do you all use straight or right helical vanes for these?
