Who is getting their kids or grandkids ready to hunt with them? My 14 year old granddaughter Taylor will be Hunting with me this fall. Practicing with her Hoyt Vixcen when she's not playing High School softball and travel ball. She has also gone to some 3-D shoots with me. This is her shots at 25 yds. image.jpg

Very nice! I think I am giving up on the chances that my daughters will ever hunt with me. Or at least for the next few year. Think my best chance will someday be when my nephews get old enough to go with me!

I'll be taking one of my friends two younger brothers while he takes the other. Should be a fun weekend!

I am bringing my 6 yr old son this year a few times. We may not get a damn thing but hey that's not really what it's all about though. Hoping my daughter will follow also.

My 13 year old son will be going into his 3 archery season this fall! He has very limited time in the woods though due to an insane hockey practice schedule.

Both my boys have been hunting with me for a couple years now. They are. 8 and almost 10. This year they both have bows and are both taking the hunter safety course. I may let Dayne (oldest) try to bowhunt this year some I haven't decided yet. Either way my next few years will be more teacher and less hunter. Very excited that they are following my passion for the woods.

I have two younger twin sisters that hunt with me a few times per season. But I can't wait for the day I can take my cousin who is like a brother to me. He's only two right now, but in a year or so, we will be in the blind together

My 9 yr old son hunted deer for the first time last year (with a shotgun).
He loves his bow though and I don't think I'll be able to keep him out of the woods when he starts hunting with that. Here he is at a 3D shoot a couple weeks ago.

I brought my 5 and 6 year old sons with me last season and they would just sit in the blind with me and watch. They love it there learning to shoot now ounce they can and when there old enough to go through the hunter safety course they will be out chasing booners to lol . My eldest killed a nice yote with a crossbow last year outta our blind it was his first kill so far besides pop cans and the occasional bird with his bb gun lol.

My boys keeps asking if they can go. We might take them scouting, but not hunting this year.

He's ready to roll!! haha My son just turned 2months old, but he's already camo'd up and ready to hit the woods. The second pic (from right to left) is my Dad, myself, and my son (in the stroller) out taking a walk around the club

Don't give up. Here is my daughter in her second season with her first deer. She was 26 at the time. Now she is too busy taking care of her two year old and 8 month old to get back out with me. I guess I'll have to wait a few years and get them all out there together.

My wife, son and I all took the hunter safety course two years ago, I waited until he was old enough, you have to be 12 here. He's had a blast but only with a rifle. I'm a bow guy and we shoot indoor league as a family and I think he'll have the confidence to do it with a bow this year. He's taken a doe in both of his seasons, I'm very proud of him.

Got my 14 year old son a diamond razor edge for x mas 2012 his first hunt with it was a bear hunt in august 2013 where he shot a 375 pound black bear using my tag Lol !!!!

I remember when my dad said he ratter have me or my brother shoot moose instead of him i thought that was odd !!!!!!
But after witnessing my young lad get his first bear now i understand my dad :)

But i made a big mistake buying him that bow now he wants a brand new bow lol !!!!!!
