QAD is what I use but do what you like.
    Both are good.

I had nothing but issues with my 3 QADs. I have had a NAP Apache carbon for the last to seasons. XZero issue. I just order another for my backup bow (replacing Ripcord Code Red). I prefer the Apache Carbon by far. QAD 20+ parts. Apache much quieter and easier to use.

Yes if you buy QAD spend the money and get the HDX! If you want a cheap rest, well, thats where the apache comes in.

I have used both NAP and QAD rests and I would go with the QAD also.

IME, if you buy a rest or release that costs $50. You're going to buy another that costs more later. Save your money and get the quality the first time.

I have and shoot both the Hunter and std Apache on my bows. I have had 0 issues with either rest. The qad has tighter containment and is a bit lighter, but needs to be cocked every shot. The nap you don't have to touch, it's quiet and just always works. The Apache is a little easier to setup and adjust, not that the Hunter is difficult. They may not have all the bells and whistles but they do work well.

The QAD HDX rest is a great rest, the cheap QAD is a steaming pile of crap....If your not gonna spend the money on the HDX go with the NAP Apache rest.
