I'm heading out west to Colorado for elk hunting and I feel like I am going to need to get a quiver that can hold more than three arrows. Currently I have a kwikee 3 arrow quiver and it holds my Easton fmj's in pretty good but I want a quiver that holds 5 or 6 arrows....never know what might happen in the mountains. I had issues with my last 4 arrow quiver not being able to hold my fmj's so what do some of you other fmj's users have for quivers? I will likely be using fixed blade slick trick broadheads. Thanks
Best quiver I've used for small dia arrows has been the TightSpot...They ain't cheap but they are awesome with small arrows because of the adjustable gripper. Also if your shooting with the quiver on the bow the TightSpot is great since it's so adjustable you can get it to balance extremely well.
I second the Tight Spot. Best quiver I've ever used, hands down. I'll be testing the NAP Apache Grid as soon as I can get my hands on one. Very similar to the Tight Spot with a few less adjustments, but 1/2 the price. Looks like it could be a great option for those who don't want to break the bank on a quiver.
Yet another vote for the tighspot, i switched to a tighspot at the end of last season. Just like you, ive had problems with pretty much every other quiver not holding the arrows. When they wuiver is brand new it hold them fine, but as soon as the grippers are worn in a bit arrows always fall out. Like mentioned above, its perfect how you can adjust the screws on every single gripper ensuring that your arrows cannot fall out. Way more expensive than your kwikee but if you want a quiver thats tght to the bow, balances it out exremely well and most importantly holds your fmjs, then get a tigh spot. Good luck on your hunt.
Thanks guys, the price on the tight spot is a bit more than what I wanted to spend on a quiver but I won't count it out just yet. Maybe I will keep an eye out for a deal on one.
Yes I shoot fmj's and they fit tight in mine. I have two of the premiums(twist on) and one of the standard (slide in) both fit good.
Second on the treelimb, I have a couple Elite quivers( made by treelimb) and they fit injections no problem.
I have an older Mathews Arrow Web quiver. Holds five arrows, and the grippers are adjustable. Loosen the allen screw and it slides for a closer gap. I used to shoot 2219 aluminums, and now I shoot Bloodsport, and the quiver has been awesome for both extremes.
i use pse rally because it's good to aim and it's balance is good for hit the target I buy it from compoundbowhq you can look if you want. it's all about your aim timing if you are good you can hit your target from mile.
I have had 3 different quivers on my bow over the last 3 years and the last one is a Tight Spot. Its by far the best quiver I have used and well worth the money.
Ok i had the tight spot and it does have the ability to adjust the grippers but I did have a few fall out time to time in brush. So with that hands down the best quiver I have used to date was the tree limb premium. It has an ear that you push down on to load the arrows and they don't fall out. On top of that they make a riser mount for most bows.
I also use a TS quiver and love it. It grips my H size Eastons well, plus is very quiet, and balances great on the bow. I would not suggest them if you take your quiver off though. Way to expensive for that.
